Ocasio-Cortez was one of the most accomplished political communicators of his generation, admirably setting the agenda despite his relatively small office, a factor in this calculation. It's not that DeSantis graduated from both Yale University and Harvard Law School and skillfully positioned himself as the Republican Party's main alternative to Donald Trump. Misogyny played a role in the AOC's firing, much as Barack Obama did racism in conservative claims made by ex-professors and ex-professors.

As of Saturday afternoon, seven more buses of asylum seekers had arrived in New York City from Texas as part of Abbott's ongoing program. DeSantis has pledged to continue the migrant transportation program despite recent criticism.
